Flex Developer (Actionscript 3)

Job Description

We are searching for a Flex developer who is passionate about creating flexible, usable and innovative RIA. He or she will need to interact with various environments and teams with different competencies in order to assist the company to reach its objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and improving Mediaclip software suite including analysis, software design, implementation and testing
  • Coming up with creative solutions to problems as they arise
  • Technical counselling within the team through the continuous updating of your skills and knowledge

Technical Expertise

  • Essential: Mastering Adobe Flex 3 or 4
  • Essential: Mastering Adobe Flash
  • Essential: Software design and good practices
  • Desirable: Knowledge of Adobe AIR
  • Desirable: Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
  • Desirable: Knowledge of XML
  • Desirable: Knowledge of HTML, Javascript and CSS
  • Desirable: Knowledge of client/server RIA

General Requirements

  • Essential: French and English, spoken and written
  • Essential: College or university diploma in a related domain or area of experience
  • Essential: Team player, professional, easy to reach and able to clearly communicate with colleagues and customers
  • Essential: Adaptability in a diversified environment and ability to quickly assimilate new technologies and information
  • Desirable: Knowledge and/or interest in photography or imaging

Desired Experience

  • Experience in web application development, preferably on an e-commerce platform
  • Have worked, studied and interacted with design tools
