With the growing popularity of layflat photobooks, Mediaclip focused version 4.2 on improving the user experience for this book type. This is why the recently released HTML5 Designer, now supports linked pages designs and offers two-page spread layouts to customers.
Any graphic element can easily be moved or shared across the linked pages to offer more flexibility and to take full advantages of the expanded surface available in such books. The visual effect created by the hard-page flip feature makes the product even more realistic and shows the customer how the book will look like once printed.
To help designers and users to create amazing book quickly, our content team created 28 Smart Design two-page spread layouts. They are image collages varying from 1 to 6 pictures per two-page spreads. These layouts automatically adjust to any size of book and can be used by a design team to create new layout-based themes.
You can also make these new layouts available for customers wanting to edit their book by simply using the layouts tab in the side panel of the application.
Other improvements were made to this version to enhance the user experience, including the ability to delete elements, the direct access to a specific album in the photo tab when previously used, the lazy loading of layouts in HTML5 for instantaneous refreshing of the project and much more.
