Mediaclip kicked off October with a flurry of event activity! Teams connected with customers and met new prospects in the North America region at various events where our solutions and expertise were showcased.
To kick-start the month, Mediaclip had the pleasure of hosting an engaging conference in our hometown during the TAG: Commerce in the Digital Era event, Oct. 1-2 at the Palais de Congrès de Montréal. Our CEO, Marion Duchesne, spoke on the subject of understanding and harnessing the Millennial Purchasing Power by capitalizing on their desire for uniqueness. She presented proven strategies on how to adapt your business’ language and processes to grab this group’s attention and turn them into loyal brand advocates. The session was given to a full house and was received with great interest by leading players in the Canadian retail market. Attendees of this event also met with team members to discover how adding product personalization to their online store could charge up their categories and stimulate higher conversion rates for improved e-commerce monetization.
We then whisked off to Las Vegas to showcase Mediaclip’s solutions for the first time at the Las Vegas Souvenir and Resort Gifts Show, Oct. 2-5 at the Las Vegas Convention Centre. This trade fair is THE must-attend event for the souvenir industry. As the largest show of its kind, it offers a selection that will help retail souvenir businesses to differentiate their store within their competitive landscape. Director of Global Sales & Partnerships, Andre Loiselle, and Marketing Director, Amani Sharma, were present on the exhibition floor to discuss how souvenir retailers, resorts, and attractions businesses can instantly add value to their branded merchandise and easily expand the range of their existing products with on-demand customizable products. Booth visitors were able to witness Mediaclip’s best-in-class user interface via live demos and were elated to know how easy it is to offer a product personalization experience that’s as memorable as the time spent at their establishment or at the nearby tourist site that fuels store traffic. The idea of online product personalization was fairly new to the audience at the show, however, Mediaclip connected with many trailblazers who are looking to take their business to the next level and set industry standards. Mediaclip is so excited to show the Souvenirs and Gifts industry all the possibilities of using the power of product personalization to extend connections with their customers beyond the initial interaction.
While Mediaclip was busy taking Vegas by storm, our CEO, Marion Duchesne, and our CSO, Marie-Eve Lemieux flew to San Francisco to take their place among top industry experts during the 7th annual Visual 1st Conference (formerly known as Mobile Photo Connect), Oct. 3-4 at the Golden Gate Club. Visual 1st is the premier global conference focused on promoting innovation and partnerships in the photo and video ecosystem. Our delegates were specially invited to present the new and exciting innovations of our Product Personalization Software during the Show and Tell segment of the conference. Marie-Eve gave an engaging demonstration in front of the Imaging industry’s most influential players, resulting in a spur of conversations to build partnerships and diversify current market strategies with product personalization at their core. Marion and Marie-Eve also had the pleasure of participating in the first annual Women in Imaging lunch where they had the chance to network with female entrepreneurs within the industry and discuss opportunities for expanded market reach and business growth. “It was exhilarating to be surrounded by such like-minded and driven women in the industry. The atmosphere was welcoming throughout, which made it easy to interact and build relationships,” explained Marion upon her return. A full-scope recap of the conference, prepared by the event organizers is also available for those interested in learning more about the conference as a whole.
Our team is fully revved up by the engaging conversations and fruitful connections made at these shows. They’ve certainly set the stage for a wonderfully busy upcoming few months. We’re looking forward to attending more shows in the New Year as well; up next is the Global Pet Expo in February, where we will be exhibiting our software at Booth #6876!
